  14. Heh heh heh ... Rich Wiggins asked me to give the growth statistics in
  15. the WWW FAQ (http://www.vuw.ac.nz/non-local/gnat/www-faq.html) for
  16. both gopher and WWW.  He gave me the raw numbers, and what I get is:

  18. Over the three (or is it four) month period from December '92 to March
  19. '93, gopher usage increased by 65%.  If you think that sounds
  20. impressive, wait -- WWW usage increased by 2800%.  Of course, the
  21. relative operational ages of the systems should be taken into account,
  22. but it still sounds pretty darn impressive :)
